In collaboration with Northwestern Medicine, Empower Parenthood Project hosted a diaper drive at several Northwestern Medicine locations in and around DeKalb County for the month of May. Through generous donations, we collected 800 diapers for community members in need!

In collaboration with four local branches of Old National Bank, we collected 1,141 diapers to give out to families in need. Special thank you  goes to Andrew Miller (Sycamore) and Chris Boyes (DeKalb) for their efforts in coordinating a successful drive! 

During this festive event, Empower Parenthood Project, NFP teamed up with other local organizations to curate access to resources for the community. We distributed diapers from the diaper drive collection directly to families and community members in need at this free event. 

Our inaugural diaper drive was sponsored by the Kishwaukee United Way. With their generous support and encouragement, we were able to successfully execute this initiative and exceed our goal of collecting 2,000 diapers. Throughout this diaper drive, the community rallied together to collect 3,569 diapers to distribute to our neighbors in need!
