What do I do if I need diapers?
If you need diapers, please contact Empower Parenthood Project via call or text message at (815) 201-2701. If you are located within DeKalb County, a drop off can be arranged at a mutually agreed upon time and location. If you are located outside of DeKalb County, you may need to travel to the drop off.
Can I get diapers if I don't live in DeKalb?
Short answer: Yes. While we do not require our diapers to go to residents of DeKalb or DeKalb County, we are a very limited team with limited time and resources. That being the case, we are happy to provide diapers to families outside of DeKalb County, though we are not able to travel to outside of DeKalb County for a drop off. If you are coming from another county, you will need to travel to DeKalb County to receive the diapers.
How can I help?
We are always accepting help! Whether you want to make a donation, volunteer at an event, help with marketing or advertising, or show some moral support, we'd love to have you. Send a message on our "Connect" page or an email expressing your interest, and we can talk more.
What kind of donations do you need?
We accept donations of clean, disposable diapers in all brands and sizes. We also accept donations of time, energy, and support. If you would like to donate other baby-related items that are not diapers, we kindly ask that you explore one of the other wonderful family-serving nonprofit organizations in DeKalb County.
